pronota.ai

Your meetings stay on your device.

Pronota records Teams, Zoom and Meet calls and writes the transcript and summary to your own hard drive. There is no cloud to upload to, and nothing connects to anything else unless you decide it should.

A free account is needed to download. It exists so we know who is using Pronota and can send you fixes — not to see your meetings.

Four steps, and every one runs on your computer

Speaker separation, transcription and the summary are done by models that ship with the app and run on your own graphics card. No upload, no queue on someone else's server.

Your Computer
  1. Record

Teams, Zoom or Meet — both sides of the call, plus the screen.

  2. Separate speakers

Who spoke when, worked out from the audio and the meeting app itself.

  3. Transcribe

Every word, attributed to the person who said it.

  4. Summarize

Decisions and actions, drafted by a local language model.

You decide what it connects to

Recording locally is the starting point, not the whole product. The value is in choosing — deliberately, one connection at a time — what your meeting notes are allowed to reach.

Ask your own AI about your own meetings

Expose your local transcripts to Claude or any MCP client, and choose what is visible. The corpus never leaves your machine — every cloud tool has to upload it to do the same thing.

Notes & knowledge

Obsidian, Notion, plain markdown

Summaries and transcripts land where you already write. Markdown export to a folder you choose is free and always will be.

Your tools

Calendar, CRM, tickets

Pull real meeting titles and attendees from your calendar; push actions where your work lives. Each connection is opt-in, and switching one off stops it entirely.

Built for conversations you cannot put in the cloud

If your work is confidential by obligation rather than preference, the usual meeting tools are simply not available to you.

  • Lawyers in solo practice and small firms — privileged conversations that cannot sit on someone else's servers.
  • Therapists and counselors — the strictest confidentiality norms of any profession.
  • Financial advisors — recorded advice with retention duties attached.
  • Coaches and consultants working under NDA.

What actually leaves your machine

Worth stating precisely, because "private" is a word everyone uses.

We check your license, never your meetings.

Your recordings, transcripts and summaries are written to your own drive and stay there. Signing in tells us that an account exists and is active. It does not give us access to a single meeting.

Pronota also sends usage counts — how often the app opens, how many meetings it records — and crash reports, linked to your install so faults can be fixed. You can switch crash reports off. Neither carries meeting content — no titles, no participant names, no transcripts, no summaries, no audio.

If you later switch on an integration, that connection sends what you point it at, and only while it is switched on.
